Brian is proud to have signed on as a Regional Educational Artist with the Pearl/Adams Corporation.
Brian’s new work for percussion trio entitled The Atmos Clock will be premiered by the Caixa Trio during the spring of 2013.
Brian’s new work for percussion orchestra entitled Have You Ever Seen The Grand Canyon? will be premiered by the Florida State University Percussion Ensemble during the spring of 2013. The work was commissioned by Dr. John Parks for the FSU Percussion Ensemble, and will be one of the tracks on their upcoming CD released in April.

October 7th - 11th, 2012 - TOUR - Brian will be on a tour of Montana with the Dickinson State University Percussion Ensemble.
October 21st - 24th, 2012 - RESIDENCY - Brian will be in residency at Troy University in Troy, AL.
November 1st, 2012 - PANEL DISCUSSION - Brian will be participating in a panel discussion at this year’s Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Austin, TX entitled “Current Trends in Composing for Percussion”.
November 1st, 2012 - COMPOSITION PERFORMANCE - Brian’s arrangement of John Cage’s Chess Pieces will be performed by the Tennessee Tech University Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Eric Willie during the New Literature Session at this year’s Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Austin, TX.
November 2nd, 2012 - COMPOSITION PREMIER - Troy University, under the direction of T. Adam Blackstock and Justin Alexander, will be premiering Brian’s new quartet Parallel during their showcase concert at this year’s Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Austin, TX.
November 13th, 2012 - CLINIC - Brian will be giving a clinic at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY.
November 14th, 2012 - CLINIC - Brian will be giving a clinic at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY.
November 30th, 2012 - COMPOSITION PERFORMANCE - Brian’s piece Purdy’s Maze will be performed at the University of Kansas by the KU Percussion Group under the direction of Ji Hye Jung.
